Celebrate St. George’s Day with Mammy Jamia’s ‘Best of British’ recipes, all made with their fruity Balsamic & Strawberry dressing.
Priced at £2.95 RRP the dressing, available in Waitrose stores and on Waitrose.com, inspires a host of strawberry-based dishes this St. George’s Day (23rd April).
The product is so versatile that it can be used as a dressing, dip or marinade and is just the right fit for a feta salad, as well as a marinade for chicken and steak. The strawberries are enhanced with the balsamic vinegar, which intensifies the fruit’s beautiful colour and flavour.
Award-winning family business Mammy Jamia’s, best known for their premium preserves, launched back in 2010. They have created three fruity dressings and their exciting and innovative products are based on a family recipe made by Mammy Jamia herself.
Sophie Cairns of Mammy Jamia’s said: “Our Balsamic & Strawberry dressing is really unusual and proving to be a very popular choice with Waitrose customers.
“It’s wonderfully fresh and tasty and is a great accompaniment to a whole host of dishes, but one of my favourites has to be the Strawberry Chicken. This dish is perfect for those entertaining guests this St. George’s Day.”
