Fig Tart Recipe


  • 1 x 340g jar Mammy Jamia’s Fig Preserve
  • 1 x 375g pack fresh ready rolled puff pastry
  • a little milk


  1. Unroll the puff pastry and cut out 28 5cm thick discs and arrange them on your baking tray.
  2. Brush the edge of the pastry with a little milk.
  3. Dollop a generous spoonful of fig jam in the centre of each pastry disc.
  4. Put in the oven at temperature: Gas mark 7, 425F, 220C and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden.
  5. Remove and cool.
  6. Dust with icing sugar and serve.
