Fig Tart Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 x 340g jar Mammy Jamia’s Fig Preserve
- 1 x 375g pack fresh ready rolled puff pastry
- a little milk
Method
- Unroll the puff pastry and cut out 28 5cm thick discs and arrange them on your baking tray.
- Brush the edge of the pastry with a little milk.
- Dollop a generous spoonful of fig jam in the centre of each pastry disc.
- Put in the oven at temperature: Gas mark 7, 425F, 220C and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden.
- Remove and cool.
- Dust with icing sugar and serve.
